High Point, N.C. - 37-year-old Jamys Leak is dead and investigators say 44-year-old Michael Pickenpack stabbed her and then tried to kill himself.
The call came in Friday around 5:30 from Spencer Street. Police say a neighbor was outside the house with two children who said that their father had killed their mother.
Pickenpack had a deep laceration in the neck area and was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Police say he had been banned from the house back on June 21 because of a previous domestic issue.
